JEREMY Meeks has swapped a life of crime for the fashion world after his eye-catching mugshot picture went viral.

Here’s what we know about the man dubbed the ‘world’s hottest felon’,who was interrogated by UK Border Force when he landed at London’t Heathrow Airport on April 24 and deported back to the USA.

Who is Jeremy Meeks?

Jeremy was born in California on February 7, 1984 and shot to viral fame after the Stockton Police Department posted his mugshot on Facebook.

The image racked up a huge 75,000 likes, 20,000 comments and 10,000 shares.

The 33-year-old, who has also been nicknamed The Blue Eyed Bandit and Jail Bae, was charged with gun possession and resisting arrest on June 18.

Two days later, his bail was raised to £780,000, and his mum Katherine Angier decided to capitalise on Jeremy’s viral fame – by setting up a GoFundMe page to raise money for his release.

She also insisted that the married dad-of-three’s gang-related charges stemmed from stereotypes about his tattoos.

Jeremy had previously served a nine-year sentence for grand theft from 2002.

Jeremy was jailed for possession of a gun and resisting arrest


He later told news channel KXTV that he was a gang member and admitted that he had a gun in his car boot.

Jeremy was jailed again, and released from Mendota Federal Correctional Institution on March 8 2016.

He has recently hit the headlines after he was pictured snogging Topshop heiress Chloe Green on a yacht off the coast of Turkey.

Jeremy was said to be cavorting the with the daughter of Sir Philip Green – despite still being married to wife Melissa.

How did Jeremy Meeks become a model?

Jeremy’s smouldering mugshot saw him snapped up by a top Hollywood agent – reportedly Gina Gina Rodriguez, who also represented Octomom Nadya Suleman.

After his release from prison, 6ft1 Jeremy claimed to have found God – and is now a successful model.

His new agent and manager, Jim Jordan of LA’s White Cross Management, says he has been “inundated” with offers of work.

Jeremy went on to work the catwalk at New York Fashion Week – while he now lives in a luxury mansion and drives a £120,000 sports car.

However, it’s not all been plain sailing for Jeremy.

On April 24, the ex-con was denied entry to the UK – and sent packing back to the United States less than eight hours after landing at Heathrow Airport.

He had been due to take part in photo shoots in London and attend the cover launch of a new issue of fashion magazine Man About Town.

His agent said Jeremy was “really upset” after being escorted back to the plane by police.
