Facebook Is Now Saving All Searches

Now, before you turn off that computer, you'll need to keep tabs on something other than the search history on your browser. On Friday, Facebook introduced a new feature that shows everything you searched for on the social media site. So, if you were secretly looking up someone's profile, don't say we didn't warn you. But before you rush over and pull up a new tab to delete everything, this information is located in a private section that only you can view. Whew.

If you're wondering why the social media site would do such a thing, the answer is simple. According to Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook receives over a billion search queries per day and in the company's continuing effort to topple Google, the website believes that through Facebook, they can offer an alternative to your run-of-the-mill search engine.

Are you concerned that the site is becoming too invasive or do you have no worries?
