In North America, baseball was a big attraction for check-ins, with Wrigley Field in Chicago and AT&T Park in San Francisco leading the way. But what about Yankee Stadium or Fenway Park? In Europe, Camp Nou in Barcelona Spain — home of FC Barcelona — led the way. These outdoor venues led a summer trend of people enjoying the outdoors, with other popular check-ins belonging to music festivals like Glastonbury and Lollapalooza, concert venues like The O2′s in Dublin and London, and amusement parks in Sweden, Denmark, Singapore and South Korea… but where’s Disneyland on these lists?
While finding restaurants on this list isn’t a huge surprise, one that got a mention is quite stupefying: T.G.I. Fridays in Aker Brygge, Norway. Hard Rock Cafes around the world make more sense, but it seems as though Norway thinks T.G.I. Fridays is the coolest restaurant on the planet, and we’ll just let them have that one.
